Senior Vice President & General Manager, Eli Lilly Kinsale
Tara Tibbs was appointed General Manager & Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at the Kinsale site in September 2024, upon her return to Ireland. Tara joined Lilly in 2000 after earning a Chemical Engineering degree from Cornell University.
Over her 20-year plus career at Lilly, she has held several leadership positions in Operations, Engineering, and Health Safety & Environmental across various manufacturing sites, including Indiana, New Jersey, the Engineering Tech Center in Indianapolis, and a previous assignment in Kinsale.
She began her career in insulin API manufacturing as a process engineer and held several roles in Engineering, Operations, and HR before transitioning to leadership.
