Antony Jancic is Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America’s lead European banking entity, Bank of America Europe DAC, and is Country Executive for Ireland.

Antony joined Bank of America in May 2013, as Head of EMEA Financial Institutions (FI) Credit Risk and from September 2015, led the newly formed EMEA Wholesale Credit team. From November 2018, Antony served as head of EU GCIB Credit, with responsibility for the credit portfolio underwritten in Bank of America Europe DAC in Ireland.

In June 2021, Antony became co-head of International GCIB Credit adding Asia and Latin America to his responsibilities and in July 2022 became co-head of the global GCIB Credit organisation.

In May 2025, Antony became head of GCIB Credit International Growth & Strategy. In this role, Antony was responsible for driving portfolio growth and strategic initiatives, ensuring consistency and discipline across client selection and risk appetite frameworks.

Antony has over 30 years of banking experience in Europe and Asia, where he held management positions in both Japan and Australia. Prior to joining Bank of America, he held senior global roles at Deutsche Bank, working across their European, Australian and Japanese businesses.

Antony sits on Bank of America’s International Management Committee and was also appointed as a Director to the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland (AmCham). Antony is committed to social and economic mobility and is also part of career mentor programmes at Bank of America, supporting junior and senior talent.

Antony holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
