Tom O’Carroll is Director of Manufacturing for Zimmer Biomet Ireland, leading operations across its Shannon and Galway sites and a workforce of more than 1,000 people within the medical technology sector.
With more than 20 years’ experience in manufacturing and operations leadership, Tom has developed extensive experience in large-scale manufacturing, operational excellence, quality focus, talent development and organisational change.
As a leader, Tom is passionate about creating high-performing, inclusive organisations where people, technology and process come together to deliver sustainable results. His focus is on leveraging innovation, digitalisation and emerging technologies to improve operational outcomes while supporting the continued growth of both the team and the business.
