Minister Dara Calleary has been TD for Mayo since 2007. Calleary was appointed Minister for Social Protection and Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht in January 2025.
Member of Irish delegation to Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe 2020-date. Member of Joint Oireachtas Committees on European Affairs & Irish Language 2020-date. Minister of State for Trade Promotion and Digital Transformation 2022-2024. Dara was previously Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
